委任準則（五項權利）：正確任務、正確環境、正確人員、正確指引、正確評估。任務須在委任者執業範圍內、病人病情須穩定、委任者具操作能力。護理師需負最終督導責任。若任務需持續的「專業護理評估」（如評估病情惡化），則不得委任。
The criteria for delegation (the Five Rights) are: right task, right circumstances, right person, right direction, and right supervision. The task must be within the delegatee's scope of practice; the client's condition must be stable; the delegatee must be competent; and the nurse retains overall supervisory responsibility. Tasks that require ongoing professional nursing assessment (such as evaluating clinical deterioration) cannot be delegated.
