護理委派（Delegation）必須遵循「五項權利」（Right task, circumstance, person, direction, supervision）。在將日常照護（如沐浴）委派給輔助人員（UAP）之前，護理師必須評估病人的穩定度。若病人血流動力學不穩定，沐浴過程可能引發姿勢性低血壓、心律不整或呼吸困難，此時需由專業護理師親自執行或監測，不可委派。
Nursing delegation must follow the 'Five Rights' (right task, circumstance, person, direction, and supervision). Before delegating routine care (such as bathing) to a UAP, the nurse must assess the patient's stability. If the patient is hemodynamically unstable, bathing may precipitate orthostatic hypotension, dysrhythmia, or respiratory distress; in such cases the licensed nurse must perform or supervise the care personally, and the task cannot be delegated.
