照顧白血球低下病人的護理過程中，哪項措施最重要？

白血球低下（Neutropenia）病人因嗜中性白血球數量不足，免疫功能嚴重受損，極易發生伺機性感染。洗手是預防院內感染最簡單且有效的阻斷傳播方式。所有醫護人員進入病室前皆應嚴格執行手部衛生，這是預防感染的第一道防線。雖然監測體溫和限制訪客也很重要，但洗手是護理人員能自主執行且預防傳播最關鍵的行為。

Neutropenic clients have severely impaired immune function due to an insufficient absolute neutrophil count and are highly susceptible to opportunistic infections. Hand washing is the simplest and most effective way to interrupt transmission of nosocomial infections. All healthcare personnel must strictly perform hand hygiene before entering the patient's room; this is the first line of defense against infection. Although temperature monitoring and visitor restriction are also important, hand hygiene is the most critical action a nurse can independently carry out to prevent transmission.
