多重抗藥性菌種（MDRO）如 MRSA、VRE 等，主要透過直接或間接接觸傳播。因此，針對此類病人的核心隔離策略是「接觸隔離（Contact precautions）」。除了標準防護，接觸隔離要求進入病房需戴手套、穿隔離衣（Gown），且設備盡量專用。這是阻斷病房內院內感染擴散的重要防線，護理師必須嚴格落實。
