The registered nurse can delegate routine, standardized, and non-invasive tasks to assistive personnel, such as measuring vital signs and assisting stable clients with ambulation. Tasks requiring professional nursing judgment, clinical assessment, sterile technique, or management of potential complications like aspiration must remain with the licensed nurse.
