高警訊藥物是指若發生給藥錯誤，會對病人造成嚴重甚至致命傷害的藥物。胰島素（A）、靜脈鉀離子（B）、肝素（C）與鴉片類止痛劑（E）均在 ISMP 的高警訊名單內。乙醯胺酚（D）雖過量有肝毒性，但一般醫療流程中不列為高警訊等級。
High-alert medications are drugs that, if administered in error, can cause serious or even fatal harm. Insulin (A), IV potassium (B), heparin (C), and opioid analgesics (E) are all on the ISMP high-alert list. Acetaminophen (D) can cause hepatotoxicity in overdose but is not classified as high-alert in standard medical practice.
