術後早期下床活動（Early Ambulation）能促進血液回流預防深部靜脈栓塞（DVT），並協助深呼吸與咳嗽預防肺部併發症（如肺炎、肺塌陷）。活動並非為了出院指標或直接止痛，亦與白血球製造無直接關聯。
Early ambulation after surgery promotes venous return to prevent deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and encourages deep breathing and coughing to prevent pulmonary complications (such as pneumonia and atelectasis). Ambulation is not aimed at meeting a discharge criterion or directly controlling pain, nor does it have a direct relationship with white blood cell production.
