Sublingual medications must be absorbed directly through the oral mucosa and must not be swallowed. For an angina attack, one dose may be administered every 5 minutes, up to a maximum of three doses; if symptoms are not relieved after the first dose, emergency medical services must be activated. The drug must be stored in its original amber, light-protective bottle and must not be exposed to light, which is why option D is incorrect.
