RACE 原則是全球通用的火警準則。但在美國醫院評鑑中，對於 R（Rescue）的定義非常具體，包括臥床病人如何使用床單拖行撤離。台灣醫院同樣推行 RACE，但實地演習中對於「第一時間不報警先移人」的落實程度有時會受個人恐慌影響。
