Systemic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (SIRS) is diagnosed when at least two of the following criteria are met: temperature greater than 38°C or less than 36°C, heart rate greater than 90 beats/min, respiratory rate greater than 20 breaths/min or PaCO2 less than 32 mmHg, and white blood cell count greater than 12,000/mm³ or less than 4,000/mm³. Therefore, a temperature of 101.5°F, heart rate of 110 bpm, WBC of 15,000/mm³, and PaCO2 of 30 mmHg all satisfy SIRS criteria.
