葛瑞夫茲氏症屬於甲狀腺功能亢進。代謝率加速導致食慾好但體重下降；畏熱（Heat intolerance）；甲狀腺激素刺激交感神經引起心搏過速（非心搏過緩）；眼球突出（Exophthalmos）；手部細微震顫。心搏過緩是甲狀腺功能減退的症狀。
Graves' disease is a form of hyperthyroidism. The accelerated metabolic rate leads to increased appetite with weight loss; heat intolerance; tachycardia (not bradycardia) due to sympathetic stimulation by thyroid hormone; exophthalmos; and fine tremors of the hands. Bradycardia is a feature of hypothyroidism.
