尖銳物回收盒（Sharps container）是預防針扎傷害（Needlestick injury）及血源性病原體傳播的關鍵設備。臨床安全規範要求回收盒必須放置在工作區且易於觸及，以減少攜帶針頭移動的風險。當容器達到 3/4 滿時必須更換，以防止因過滿導致針頭突出造成意外。嚴禁回套針頭（Recapping），這是導致針扎的主要原因之一，若必須回套則需採取單手技術（One-hand scoop technique），但通常應直接丟棄。
Sharps containers are critical equipment for preventing needlestick injuries and the transmission of bloodborne pathogens. Clinical safety standards require that sharps containers be placed in the work area and easily accessible to reduce the risk of carrying needles over a distance. The container must be replaced when 3/4 full to prevent overfilling and the protrusion of needles, which can cause accidental injury. Recapping needles is strictly prohibited, as it is a major cause of needlestick injuries; if recapping is unavoidable, the one-hand scoop technique must be used, but generally needles should be discarded directly.
