The greatest risk factor for skin cancer is prolonged and excessive ultraviolet (UV) exposure. Landscapers work outdoors for long hours and have the highest UV exposure. Clients with olive skin have more melanin and relatively greater protection. Indoor workers or those who exercise indoors have minimal UV exposure.
