紅人症候群（Red Man Syndrome）是因萬古黴素輸注速度過快，導致組織胺快速大量釋放引起的過敏樣反應。臨床建議萬古黴素單次劑量應至少稀釋並在 60 分鐘以上輸注完畢。若發生紅人症候群，應先暫停給藥，待症狀緩解後再以更慢的速度重新開始。

To prevent Red Man Syndrome, a histamine-mediated reaction caused by rapid infusion, vancomycin must be administered over at least 60 minutes. Infusing the medication too quickly leads to excessive histamine release, resulting in flushing and hypotension. If this syndrome occurs, the infusion should be paused and restarted at a slower rate once symptoms resolve.
